Reporting and dashboards

The numbers you run the business on, on a dashboard, without exporting anything to a spreadsheet.

How we deliver it

  • We agree the handful of numbers that matter.
  • We pull them from your systems into one place, refreshed automatically.
  • We build dashboards people check without being asked.

How it works

A dashboard is only useful if people check it without being asked. That takes a handful of numbers that matter, one agreed definition for each, and data that arrives on its own. Revenue has to mean the same thing in the sales meeting and in the finance review. We agree those definitions with you first, then pick the lightest setup that keeps them current.

Where the numbers live decides the setup.

Where the numbers come from

Each source is pulled automatically, on a schedule or as changes happen, into one place where every number is calculated the same way. Dashboards read from there, so two people looking at the same number always see the same value.

What changes for the team

Nobody exports anything on Friday afternoon. The report that used to be assembled by hand, and was out of date by Monday, is a dashboard that is current whenever someone opens it.

What decides it

Which numbers
Usually five to ten. If a number has no owner and nobody would act on it, it does not belong on the dashboard.
How fresh
Overnight is enough for most decisions. When a team acts on changes within the hour, the data has to arrive in real time.
Where the data comes from
Each source needs a reliable way out. Where one is missing, that is an integration first.
Who sees what
Finance, sales and the owners rarely need the same view, and some numbers are not for everyone. Access follows the person’s role, through single sign-on.
How much history
Comparing this quarter with the same quarter three years ago needs the data kept and shaped for it. That is what tips a team toward a warehouse.

Hand over or run

Your choice, per solution. We hand it over with documentation your team can work from, or we keep it running: upgrades, monitoring and incidents, with one of us on call 24/7.

Talk to the person who builds it

Tell us what is slow, stuck, or held together by a spreadsheet. We will tell you what we think in one call, before any proposal.
