Several dozen developers needed cloud environments, deployments and permissions on a platform still being built. Three of us built it so a merged change ships itself, and have run it for three years.
Customer records that only changed on a nightly reload now reach a dozen systems within seconds. We were asked for a database every system would switch to; we built a stream none of them had to.
